Accessibility Options

The following options can be changed for this site or your browser:

  1. Change Menu Structure
  2. Text Colour Contrast
  3. Font Size
  4. Browser Zoom

1. Change Menu Structure

The default menu uses Javascript and visually highlights the page being viewed. Unforuntatley, being generated Javascript means that it does not work well with keyboard navigation

If you wish to use your keyboard to navigate this site, please select the Text Menu option (second link below).

2. Change Colour Contrast

Change colour contrast for Hamilton Rotary Club site only

Default Colour Scheme          Strong Contrast - Black and White
 

3. Change Font Size

Change font size for Hamilton Rotary Club site only

Default Size       Medium       Larger       Largest


Change font size for all websites

Note: These changes will affect the font size for your browser and will affect all sites you visit.

Mozilla Firefox

  • Choose View from the menu at the top of the Mozilla Firefox browser
  • Select Zoom
  • Choose Zoom In to make the site larger, choose Zoom Out to make it smaller
  • From the same Zoom menu, you can click and toggle Zoom Text Only
  • If Zoom Text Only is checked, zooming will only affect the text
  • If Zoom Text Only is not checked, the size of the entire page will change
  • Using Keyboard short-cuts
  • Ctrl+ "+"   will Zoom In
  • Ctrl+ "-"   will Zoom Out

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 and 8.0

  • Choose Page from the menu at the top of the Internet Explorer browser
  • Select Text Size
  • Select desired text size from the choices of smaller, smallest, medium, larger or largest

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0

  • Choose View from the menu at the top of the Internet Explorer browser
  • Select Text Size
  • Select desired text size from the choices of smaller, smallest, medium, larger or largest

Netscape Navigator 4.6

  • Choose Edit from the menu at the top of the Netscape Web browser
  • Select Preferences
  • This will open a large window.
  • From the left hand select Fonts under Appearance
  • Each default Font used in the browser along with custom fonts will appear in the dialog box
  • Beside each font is a drop down list to choose font size. Select desired font size
  • Click okay to close this dialog box

Netscape Navigator 6.2, 7.0 and 8.0

  • Open your Netscape browser
  • Hold down the Ctrl+"-" keys together to enlarge the page
  • You will find that this will enlarge the text, to enlarge again repeat the procedure
  • If you need to make the text smaller press Ctrl+"-" keys together

4. Change Browser Zoom

Note: These changes will affect the Zoom for your browser and will affect all sites you visit.

For Most Browsers

  • Using Keyboard short-cuts
  • Ctrl+ "+"   will Zoom In - making pages larger
  • Ctrl+ "-"   will Zoom Out - making pages smaller
